Nisheet “Nishu” Dabadge is a part-time law student with a strong technical background, combining expertise in chemical engineering, technology risk governance, and regulatory compliance. Currently studying at Georgetown University Law Center, Nisheet Dabadge serves as a staff editor for the Georgetown Environmental Law Review. With his engineering and cybersecurity experience, he is able to assess regulatory and technological issues from multiple perspectives.
Before law school, Nishu Dabadge was a senior associate at American International Group, focusing on technology governance and regulatory compliance. He contributed to risk treatment processes and ensured compliance with cybersecurity regulations, including the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) Cybersecurity Regulation (23 NYCRR 500), the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Technology Risk Management Guidelines, and the Thailand Cybersecurity Act. He previously conducted research on solute partitioning, thermochemical investigations, and solubility studies. His experience also includes an engineering internship at Ford Motor Company and a business development role at LoftSmart.com, where he worked on property management strategies and venture capital initiatives.
A Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge semifinalist and AIG Global Horizon Challenge finalist, Nisheet Dabadge has been recognized for his analytical problem-solving abilities in technology and policy. Outside his academic and professional pursuits, he enjoys soccer, weightlifting, cooking, and reading.
